The journey starts from the beginning, when the first people step onto the land near Thu Bon River. Audiences will observe images of built houses, the people working continuously, farming, fishing, weaving, cutting woods, sifting sand,... Each action, gesture showing the bond to this land, and the optimism and hope of life.
The start of the performance “Birth of Existence” is an image of the light road with 100 girls in their ao dai. Representing the flow of time, taking the audiences back in time, and observing the birth of Hoi An. The images of the first living form showing the happiness of the mom and dad to their first child. From here, the first living existence gradually grows and spreads, creating an abundant and peaceful Hoi An.

This act IV is also a highlight for 30 girls who played the part in their ao dai outfit, smoothly and elegantly playing the gourd zither, playing the harmonious song of integration. The gourd zither played alongside the upbeat music, creating a cultural atmosphere that is both traditional and modern.
Hoi An Cultural Show also offers tourists with the iconics buildings and monuments of Hoi An such as the Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House,... This is a proof of the creativity and essence of the local people.
